JAMMU, Jan 25: An absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past several years, was arrested by police in Bishnah area here today.
A police official said that one Lucky Kumar of Laswara, Bishnah, who was booked in case FIR number 185/2011 under sections 279 and 304-A of the RPC registered at Police Station Bishnah, was evading his arrest after the commission of the crime.
He said an arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC was issued against the accused by the JMIC Bishnah.
The warrant got executed today with his arrest, said the police official.
After completing the legal formalities, the accused was produced before the court of law for judicial determination, the police official added.
