JAMMU, Jan 23: On the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, National Secular Forum (NSF), Jammu Unit organized a programmed in its head office, here today and paid rich tribute to Neta.
Ankush Abrol, Jammu Provincial Joint Secretary JKNC was the chief guest on the occasion while Dr Vikas Sharma, Coordinator Jammu District and Zonal Secretary JKNC, presided over the function. T R Sharma and Dr Sukhdev Singh, State President NSF, were the guests of honour.
The participants garlanded a portrait of Neta Subhas Chandra Bose and recalled his contribution for the freedom struggle.
Speakers threw light on the life history of Neta Subhas Chandra Bose and appealed to the youth to come forward to eliminate all evils from the society. They also stressed upon the youth to shun their self centric outlook and contribute in the development of the nation.
Roshan Sharma, President Jammu district delivered the welcome address and Abhishek Uppal, Chairman Jammu district, delivered the vote of thanks.
