JAMMU, Jan 22: Workers of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) led by their president, Sunil Dimple here today staged a protest demonstration against the failure of the authorities after the death toll reached 17, due to mysterious disease in Badhaal area of district Rajouri.
Addressing the protesters Dimple said that the LG administration should immediately visit Badhaal village and arrange chopper services to airlift the ten fresh cases detected to the PGI or AIIMS Delhi for advanced treatment.
He also demanded a CBI or NIA probe into the deaths and compensation to the affected families.
“GMC Rajouri and Jammu have become death hubs,” the MSJK leader claimed and flayed the authorities for having failed even to diagnose the illness and cause of deaths even after one month of continuous deaths.
Sanjay Sethi, Bishan Das, Rinku Sharma, Brama, Akbar Khan, Shafi, Nazier Khan, Vipan Mahajan, Vicky Mahjan, Rakesh Sharma and many others were also present in the protest.
