JAMMU, Jan 19: NC provincial president Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta has flayed the Union Government for failing to fulfill its promises made on August 5, 2019, regarding development of J&K.
Addressing a joining programme here today organized by Tejinder Singh Aman, district president Jammu Urban YNC, Gupta highlighted that unemployment in the region has reached its peak in the last 10 years.
He lamented that no major industries have been established in J&K, leaving the youth struggling for employment opportunities.
The NC leader further emphasized that Omar Abdullah led Government has always been dedicated to the cause of youth empowerment.
He urged the newly joined members to create awareness among the youth regarding various Government schemes aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in J&K.
Gupta underscored the necessity of collective efforts in shaping a future where the youth can contribute meaningfully to the progress of J&K.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, provincial secretary Jammu asked the newly joined members to work hard and actively engage with the people at grassroots level.
Tejinder Pal Singh apprised senior party leaders about the pressing issues faced by the youth, including rising unemployment.
