JAMMU, Jan 18: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a major reshuffle in the Transport Department with the transfer and posting of several Assistant Regional Transport Officers (ARTOs) and In-charge ARTOs.

As per Government order issued today, the transfers have been implemented with immediate effect. Sheetal Kumar Sharma, has been transferred from ARTO Ramban to ARTO Doda, while Abrar Ahmed Kripak has been shifted from ARTO Kulgam to ARTO Anantnag with the additional charge of ARTO Shopian. Showkat Ahmad Bhat, has been moved from ARTO Anantnag to ARTO Kulgam and Bashrat Mahmood has been reassigned from ARTO Pulwama to ARTO Poonch.
Mehnaz Chisti, who was serving as ARTO Budgam, has been posted to ARTO Pulwama and Tasleem Javaid who was under orders of adjustment has been appointed as ARTO Kishtwar. Mohammad Saleem, I/c ARTO Kishtwar, has been placed at the disposal of the RTO Jammu for further duties. Pawan Kumar Sharma, I/c ARTO Rajouri, has been assigned to I/c ARTO Flying Squad-II (Enforcement Wing) for the National Highway, and Bipin Singh Charak, who held the look-after charge of Flying Squad Jammu, has been appointed as I/c ARTO Flying Squad-I (Enforcement Wing), Jammu.
Additionally, Arif Parvaiz Shah, I/c ARTO Shopian, has been transferred to I/c ARTO Budgam, and Rajesh Gupta, I/c ARTO Doda, has been moved to I/c ARTO Rajouri. Kuldeep Singh, I/c ARTO (BoI) Passenger, Jammu, has been reassigned as I/c ARTO Ramban, while Tara Mani, L/A ARTO, has been transferred from I/c ARTO Poonch to I/c ARTO (BoI) Passenger, Jammu.
