AKHNOOR, Jan 17: Senior BJP leader and District Development Councillor (DDC), Pandit Suresh Sharma, here today started the long-awaited construction work of a road in Laleyal, situated in the Panchayat of Choura, Block Chowki Choura.
The project, which is being funded under State Sector at a cost of Rs 15.50 lakh was the major demand of local residents of the area.
Completion of the work will greatly enhance connectivity for the locals.
Speaking on the occasion Suresh Sharma reiterated his commitment to improve the infrastructure across the region.
“Our goal is to ensure that every village and locality is connected by paved roads, making transportation easier and fostering development at every corner,” he maintained expressing gratitude to the Union Government led by PM Modi.
Sharma emphasized the significant financial support provided for the development of J&K.
“Every corner is witnessing substantial progress,” the District Development Councillor claimed.
BJP Mandal president, Ashok Kumar Sharma, former Sarpanch, Ramesh Lal, Shankar Lal, Ajay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Surendra Sharma, Balwant Singh, Chaggar Singh, Bittu Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Vinay Kumar, Satpal, Karan Singh and others were also present on this occasion.
