JAMMU, Jan 16: A new TV studio was inaugurated at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), here today.
The studio was inaugurated by students of the institution.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Dilip Kumar, Regional Director of IIMC Jammu, emphasized how the new equipment will help students become industry-ready professionals.
He expressed gratitude to Dr Anupama Bhatnagar, Vice Chancellor, Dr Nimish Rustagi, Registrar and other administrative officers for their support in this initiative.
This addition aims to provide students with hands-on experience and equip them with the skills required to excel in the dynamic television news industry.
The new studio boasts advanced tools and technologies, including high-definition DSLR cameras, teleprompters, a switcher, an audio mixer, a two-camera setup, backdrops and microphones.
Among others who were present during the inauguration event included Dr Vinit Utpal, Course Coordinator, Digital Media, Dr Ravia Gupta, Vishv, Assistant Professors, Gulshan Kumar, Rajeev Kumar, and Madhusudan, Academic Associates and Anoop Wattal and Sanjeev Kumar (Office Assistants).
