JAMMU, Jan 10: Dr Varun Suthra, Director of International Relations at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), met with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anglu Farrugia, at the Parliament of Malta.
Dr Suthra, known for his dedication to global cooperation and social impact, shared his vision for fostering international partnerships aimed at advancing educational and social initiatives.
The Speaker, in turn, expressed strong support for the initiative and emphasized the importance of international engagement in addressing global challenges such as poverty alleviation, education, and sustainable development.
The meeting focused on how KISS and KIIT can collaborate with Malta on a range of issues, including academic exchange programs, research partnerships, and joint efforts to promote social inclusion.
Dr Suthra highlighted KISS’s mission to empower underprivileged communities through education and skill-building, while Farrugia underscored Malta’s commitment to contributing to global causes, particularly those focused on humanitarian and educational advancement.
Speaker Farrugia expressed his enthusiasm about the possibilities for cooperation between Malta and the Kalinga Institute, noting that these discussions reflect Malta’s increasing role in supporting global initiatives that focus on education, social justice, and sustainable development.
