POONCH, May 21:A meeting of the Clerical Association was held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Bashir Hussain, district president, for discussing long pending demands and other issues.
The Association demanded removal of pay anomalies, enhancement of the retirement age, increase in Medical Allowance, etc.
The meet appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Finance Minister A R Rather for ensuring justice to clerical cadre employees. Those who attended the meeting, included Kwaifat Hussain, Zafar Hussain, Zhangir Khan and others.
