JAMMU, Jan 3: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has promoted two IAS officers of the erstwhile J&K cadre, who are currently posted in the AGMUT cadre.
As per an order, 2009 batch IAS officer Sarmaad Hafeez has been promoted to the Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the pay matrix) with effect from January 1, 2025 or from the date of assumption of charge, whichever is earlier.

The order further said that another 2009 batch IAS officer Sushma Chouhan has been granted proforma promotion to the Super Time Scale (Level 14 in the pay matrix) with effect from January 1, 2025 and on actual basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge of her immediate junior in the cadre.
While Sarmad Hafeez is currently posted as Secretary to the Government, Youth Services and Sports Department, Sushma Chouhan is deputed to the Ministry of Home Affairs on a Director ranked post.
