MENDHAR, May 20: Gursai police claimed to have solved a burglary case with the arrest of a noted thief.
Identified as Tahir Hussain Shah, he fell to the police net few days back. He was placed under sustained interrogation and confessed to have stolen gold ornaments from the house of one Nazia Fatima, wife of Nazir Hussain of Gursai. He had sold these ornaments to a Poonch based goldsmith. The police recovered this jewellry worth Rs 1.30 lakh from the gold smith and handed over to the owner. Police expecting to solve some more theft cases.
