Brahman Sabha stresses for inculcating cultural values

JAMMU, Dec 16: Brahman Sabha, Channi Himmat Branch- a subsidiary of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, held a meeting centrally focussed on discussion and suggestions for smooth implementation of Sanskars and cultural programs in the society.
Speaking on this occasion Yash Paul Khajuria stressed on giving due recognition to the Brahmins who have done a lot for the society and country. Enlightening that Brahmins by birth should also be Brahmin with Karma and Sanatan Sanskriti needs proper awareness among masses so that nobody could dare to deliver false propaganda among masses just for vote bank politics.
Sunil Sharma, Head of the Channi Himmat Unit, presented brief report on the work done till date by the Sabha. He informed the gathering that database is being prepared by connecting the Brahmin families living in Channi Himmat. Brahmins in Channi Himmat area can become a part of Brahmin Sabha by filling a form to take membership of Brahmin Sabha, he added.
Dewaker Khajuria and Kewal Krishan Sharma stressed on propagation of moral values among Brahmins, eradication of drug abuse which is rapidly flourishing among youth and celebration of different occasions viz Parshuram Jayanti, National days and Sanskritic events and upkeeping of Dogra culture and heritage with unity and coordination.
Proceedings of meeting were conducted by Shiv Kumar Sharma and vote of thanks was presented by Pran Nath. Professor R D Sharma, former Vice Chancellor of Jammu University; Dr Rakesh Kumar Khajuria, Subash Shastri, Ramesh Magotra, Shyam Lal Khajuria, Bodh Raj Sharma, Shiv Kumar Sharma, P N Koul, Vinod Kumar Khajuria, Vijay Kumar Bhushan, Rakesh Khajuria, Hitesh Kumar Choudhary, Bimal Sharma, Sanjeev Mohan Sharma, Sanjay Mohan Sharma, Rakesh Baru, Chetan Sharma, Manohar Lal Sharma, Sudhir Bakshi, Bipul Khajuria, Sanju Bakshi, Hans Raj Sharma, Anil Khajuria, Tushar Kant Sharma, Romesh Sharma and Ashok Magotra were present on the occasion.
