Govt re-constitutes panel for examining appointment of Pilots

JAMMU, Dec 4: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has re-constituted the committee for examining/recommending appointment of new Pilots and extension in services of Pilots.
Headed by Administrative Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, the committee shall prescribe the eligibility requirements for recruitment to the posts of Pilots/Co-Pilots, with the approval of the Chief Minister.
Further, the committee shall prescribe the terms and conditions of appointment, including salary and allowances, with the approval of the Finance Department.
Director General (Codes) Finance Department; Director Finance, Civil Aviation Department; representative from GAD, Addl Secretary, Civil Aviation and Accountable Manager, Civil Aviation Department are Members of the committee while Administrative Officer, office of the Civil Aviation Commissioner, is the Member Secretary.
