J&K BSP chief asks workers to intensify outreach ahead of ULB, Panchayat polls

JAMMU, Dec 1: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) J&K president Darshan Rana has called on party leaders and workers to ramp up public outreach efforts in preparation for the upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) and Panchayat elections in the Union Territory.
In a meeting held at Akhnoor and Chhamb Assembly segments, Rana reviewed the political landscape and discussed strategies to bolster the Party’s grassroots presence. He directed party members to intensify engagement with the public in their constituencies, address grievances, and promote the Party’s agenda effectively.
Rana urged the party leaders/workers to maintain their momentum and strengthen the BSP at all levels. He emphasized the need to focus on membership campaigns and increase the party’s support base in Jammu province to ensure a strong performance in the elections.
The meeting saw active participation from key party leaders, including vice president Charanjit Chargotra, senior leader Kuldeep Chalotra, and others such as Tarsem Lal, Subash Chander, Subash Bhagat Chitar Banu, and Malkeet Manu, who discussed the Party’s organizational structure and other issues.
Rana reiterated the importance of consistent ground-level engagement and encouraged party members to work tirelessly for the people’s welfare while preparing for the electoral challenge ahead.
