SAMBA, Nov 26: In continuation to its drive against the absconders/criminals, J&K Police apprehended four absconders who were wanted in a case FIR registered at Police Station Vijaypur during the year 2014.
Police said a team of Police Station (PS) Vijaypur apprehended the absconders namely Ali Hussain, son of Faroz Din, Bali Mohd, son of Ali Hussain, Shoki, son of Bashir Kasana and Naseeb Ali, son of Ali Hussain all residents of Rakh Barotain tehsil Vijaypyur district Samba wanted in case FIR No. 20/2014 U/S 451/323/147 RPC registered at PS Vijaypur.
The accused were evading their arrest since 2014 after the commission of the crime, police said. The arrest was made by the team headed by SHO PS Vijaypur, Inspector, Zaheer Mushtaq.
The absconders were produced in the Court of Law and the arrest warrant U/S 512 CrPC issued against them was executed.
