JAMMU, Nov 24: On the 35th day of Movement Kalki’s ongoing protest, a grand rally was organized here today.
The rally commenced from Peer Mitha Bazaar, passed through Kanak Mandi Bazaar and concluded at Bharat Mata Chowk.
The rally was presided over by Gokul, who emphasized the significance of the movement.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “This rally aims to raise awareness in society and urge the Government to address our demands promptly. Our mission is to safeguard our culture and uphold the principles of dharma.”
Raising their demands, Gokul said, “Our demands include establishing a dedicated board to address issues related to Sanatan Dharma and preserve its sanctity, enforce stringent laws to prevent cow slaughter and promote the establishment of cow shelters and acknowledge the cultural and spiritual importance of the cow by granting it the status of national symbol.”
Karnail Chand in his address said, “Movement Kalki stands for the establishment of dharma and societal integration. If the Government fails to act promptly, we will intensify our movement.”
Among others who addressed the protestors included Pawan Sharma, Pooja Hindu, Monika Sharma, Baba Khandeshwari, Pritam Sharma, Sanjeev Dubey, Chandan Gupta, Someshwar Kohli, Manik Gupta, Saurav Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Arun Gupta, Suresh Kumar, Dr. Sudesh Gupta and Yashpal Deepak Sharma.
