POONCH, Nov 14: In order to spread awareness about different Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), an Integrated Communication Outreach Programme (ICOP) will be organized by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) from 17th – 24th November.
The exhibition will be a part of Jhiri Mela at Marh Jammu and will showcase various Government schemes related to Agriculture, Health, Housing, Swachhta, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Floriculture, Horticulture, startups, scholarships, social assistances, life style for environment and other aspects. Seminar, drawing competitions, cultural programmes, open quiz, selfie corner and ‘New India Samachar’ magazine of Government of India will be the main attractions for the youth.
To mobilize people for the Multi-Media Exhibition, two pre-publicity events were organized on November 13 and today at GHSS Ghou Manahsa and at GHSS Gajansoo, Marh, respectively.
At GHSS Ghou Manhasa, drawing competition and seminar were organized in which faculty of GHSS, GGHS and GMS Ghou Manhasa along with students and locals participated. At GHSS Gajansoo, drawing competition and seminar were attended by faculty, students and locals.
Incharge, CBC, Field Office Poonch, Vijay Mattoo, in his welcome address said that CBC, through its field offices reaches out to the far flung areas to spread awareness regarding various Government sponsored schemes through exhibitions, songs, skits, ICOPs, interactive programmes, competitions and other activities in coordination with district administration. He highlighted aims, objectives and benefits of schemes including PMJAY, SBM, PMAY, Ujjwala Yojna, Mission LiFE and EBSB.
He urged the students to spread the message regarding Multimedia Exhibition which will have free entry and which will help people to know more about and avail benefits of different Government initiatives.
