JKTJAC deputation meets DSEJ, raises issues of teaching fraternity

JAMMU, Nov 8: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma called on Director School Education Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma in his office chamber, here today and discussed various issues of the teaching fraternity.
While interacting with the Director, Vinod Sharma sought intervention of the former for regularisation of ReTs who have completed their 5 years ReT period and waiting for the same for a long time, conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II / III whose files are complete in all respect, adjustment of newly promoted Teachers to Masters, permission in favour of teachers who have acquired Graduation degree during service, earned leave in favour of teachers engaged during summer/ winter vacation and for other duties during vacation and one more DPC of Teachers to Masters.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the JKTJAC leadership. He also assured to issue adjustment orders of newly promoted Teachers to Masters at the earliest.
The delegation comprised of JKTJAC Vice President Surjeet Singh Chib, Advisor Sham Sharma, Coordinator Khazan Singh, District President Udhampur Lekh Raj Parihar, District President Jammu Ravinder Singh Manhas, District President Reasi Balwan Singh and Pawan Singh.
