JAMMU, Nov 5: Swami Rajeshwaranand, head of Shri Rajmata Jhande Wala Mandir group, and Shiv Sena (UBT) state chief Manish Sahni have strongly criticized the PDP MLA’s proposal on Article 370, brought during the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session and paying tribute to the late radical Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, who was a supporter of Pakistan.
In a joint press conference, here today at the party’s State Central office, Manish Sahni said that reciting the praises on late pro-Pakistan separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is highly condemnable act. He said that this misdeed can once again ignite the spark of separatism and fundamentalism in Kashmir.
Warning that any attempt to promote separatism and fundamentalism in Kashmir would not be allowed at any cost, both Sahni and Swami Rajeshwaranand advised Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to focus only on the overall development of the state and public issues and not create an atmosphere of confusion in the J&K by raising useless issues.
