JAMMU, Oct 16: Indian Academy of Pediatrics, City Branch Jammu, organized Gastrointestinal Emergencies Made Easy (GEME Module) workshop at Jammu under IAP President Action Plan.
Dr Satish Sharma, Senior Vice- President IAP North Zone, was the national faculty. He along with Dr Gurdeep Kajal, Senior Paediatrician from Jalandhar; Dr Ghanshyam Saini, Professor & HoD Paediatrics, GMC Jammu; Dr Ravinder Gupta, Professor & HoD Pediatrics, ASCOMS Jammu; Dr Sanjeev Kumar Digra, Professor Pediatrics, GMC Jammu and Dr Anuj Bhatti, Associate Professor Paediatrics, GMC Jammu deliberated on various Pediatric Gastrointestinal emergencies.
IAP National President, Dr G V Basavaraja addressed the gathering on virtual mode during inaugural function. More than 50 Paediatricians from Jammu and surrounding areas attended the workshop.
Dr Ashok K Gupta, former HoD Paediatrics, GMC Jammu; Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma and Dr Mohd Razaq, Professors, Pediatrics, GMC Jammu; Senior Pediatricians, Dr N K Pargal; Dr S S Slathia; Dr Mahesh Gupta; Dr Neeraj Gupta; Dr Ashwini Verma; Dr Sanjeev Mahajan; Dr Ravi Bharti; Dr Sushil Sharma and Dr Anita Sharma, Paediatric Neurologist from Rohtak, chaired various sessions during this event.
Dr Savir Gupta, Junior Resident Paediatrics GMC Jammu, conducted the proceedings and Dr Mohd Razaq, Professor Pediatrics, GMC Jammu, delivered the vote of thanks.
