RAJOURI, Apr 21: A young woman was gang-rapped by the ‘Pandit’ and his two associates, during a marriage function at Saranukote village in Rajouri last night.
Reports said the woman Neeru Devi (name changed), resident of Saranukote had gone to attend a marriage function. During mid- night, she was tactfully taken to a nearby isolated place by the ‘Pandit’, where Pandit and his two associates committed rape on her.
The woman along with her family members went to Rajouri Thana today and lodged an FIR No. 185/2014 under Sections 376/342 RPC against Pt Rajesh Kumar of Rehan village, Baldev Raj, son of Kala and one Om Parkash for committing sexual assaults on her. All the three accused have gone underground after incident. The police was looking for them.
