RAJOURI, Apr 21: The police has booked an Army jawan and his elder brother on the charge of rape and cheating a 19-year-old girl hailing from Kalal Kas village in Rajouri district.
The police has registered a case FIR No. 184/2014, under Sections 376/342/420 and 109 RPC against Army soldier Sanjay Kumar and his brother, Rajiv Kumar, sons of Balbir Kumar of the same village. The jawan solemnized secret marriage with girl and sexually exploited her when he had come on leave to the village. Then he took her to Jammu and managed divorce from a court by taking her signature by default on papers and asked to stay at home with her brother as she was now his wife now legally. The parents of the boys also tried to convince her and she was also raped by elder brother. Sanjay went to his battalion somewhere in Punjab.
The poor girl realizing a fraud with her, reached home and narrated her tale to parents, who lodged an FIR with the Rajouri police. The investigation into the case has been started.
