BHADERWAH, Apr 21: Police today arrested a bootlegger along with 50 pouches of illicit liquor from Domail area.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a police team from Bhaderwah police station laid a naka at Domail and intercepted a pedestrian namely Angat Singh, son of Kashmir Singh of Khari.
During search, police recovered 50 pouches of illicit liquor and arrested the bootlegger.
A case under FIR number 45/14 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
The arrest was made by SHO police station Bhaderwah under the supervision of SP Doda Mohammad Sharief Chouhan.
