Arrest warrant against 3 for duping Hajjis

SRINAGAR, Apr 18: A local court here issued General Warrant of Arrest against three owners of Hajeej Hospitality Pvt. Ltd, accused of duping intending Hajj pilgrims in 2011.
The Court of In-charge Principal District and Sessions Judge Parvez Ahmad Kachroo issued arrest warrant against Fabiyan Waheed, Proprietor and Owner of Hajeej Hospitality Pvt. Ltd and its co-owners Arsalan Gilkar and Abdul  Waheed, for cheating, dishonesty, intending to outrage religious feelings, breach of trust and criminal conspiracy.
The court directed the Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police (DGP) to execute the warrant of arrest against these accused persons.
The direction was passed after the combined charge sheet was produced by Superintendent of Police North, Tahir Saleem, involving the accused in FIR Nos.58/2011 at P/S Khanyar, 46/2011 at P/S Kralkhud, 47/2011 at P/S Lal Bazar, 66/2011 at P/S Harwan, 97/2011 at P/S Shaheed Gunj, 80/2011 at P/S M.R.Gunj, 153/2011 at P/S Safa Kadal, 162/2011 at P/S Batmaloo, 198/2011 at P/S Ram Munshi Bagh and FIR No.224/2011 at P/S Saddar.
The accused have been implicated under Sections 420, 295-A, 406, 120-A of RPC for cheating Hajj aspirants and created disappointment to them who had booked their names with the Hajeej Hospitality Pvt. Ltd for Hajj pilgrimage for the year 2011.
About 311 persons had booked themselves and made payments in the Hajeej Hospitality Pvt. Ltd, but he fled out of State along with their money running in crores of rupees. These persons are absconding and evading arrest.
