SRINAGAR, Apr 16: Two women today attempted suicide, among them one died.
A police spokesman said a woman of Batagund, Dooru in Anantnag district consumed poison at her home. She was rushed to a hospital where she breathed her last.
In Budgam, a 45-year-old woman of Dadoora, Budgam, consumed poison at her home. She has been shifted to JVC Bemina for treatment.
The spokesman said police has registered cases.
