JAMMU, July 3: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining and minting money out of the public resources.
In a surprise operation which was carried at different locations in Rural zone of district Jammu, Police Station Nagrota detained one tractor trolley bearing Engine number CJ1353/SFL29120 and Chassis number MBNAK49AHPTM21393 as it was found loaded with sand without giving Form-A.
Similarly, Police Post Pounichak detained one JCB bearing Chassis number HAR3DXSST0252258 and Police Post Manwal detained one dumper bearing registration number JK14F-9942 involved in illegal mining. After detaining of these vehicles, District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions.
