JAMMU : Two persons died while one sustained critical injuries when a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge near Khellani Nallah in Doda.
The deceased have been identified as Tariq Hussain of Udhyanpur Doda and Mudasir Husain Hajam of resident of Deoli of Doda, police official told.
A police official said a vehicle met with a tragic accident near Khellani Nallah in Doda late last night. “Two persons were killed while one sustained critical injuries,” he said.
The official said immediately after the mishap, police with the
help of locals launched a rescue operation and shifted injured to the hospital.
The critically injured Ahsan Ahmed of Akram Abad, Doda has been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
