JAMMU, Mar 9: The members of Athwas Foundation in an emergency meeting here, today while expressing surprise over a news item of March 3 in which its president, Kusum Dhar had stated that the organization stands dissolved termed it totally baseless.
In a statement issued, its vice president Ajay Bharti, general secretary, Sohail Koul and secretary Ravi Pandita said that in a meeting held under the leadership of Sohail Koul the members passed a No Confidence Motion against Mrs Dhar and removed her from the post of president. It said Mr Ajay Bharti will act as caretaking president.
The meeting was also attended by Bihari Kak, Ravi Kachroo, Vijay Dhar, Vinod Chopra, J K Raina, Kamal Handoo, Shiban Tickoo, Ashok Kallo, Vijay Wali, Anita Raina, Vijay Bharti, Sunil Koul, Ravi Pandita, Virender Raina, Inder Kalla, Pran Parag, Arvin Tickoo and others.
