JAMMU, Feb 25: The Government today ordered placement of 26 KAS officers against the available vacancies of Special Scale KAS on stop gap basis and consequent upon these promotions, also ordered transfers and postings of 14 officers with immediate effect.
The promoted officers are; Ghulam Nabi Balwan, Tsering Maroop, Riyaz Ahmad Choudhary, Tasaduq Jeelani, Gazanffer Ali, Hassan Khan, Y P Suman, Veer Ji Hangloo, M S Choudhary, Abdul Aziz Bhat, Abdul Rashid War, Rahul Sharma, Narinder Singh Bali, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Hashmat Ali Yatoo, Choudhary Rashid Azam Inqalabi, Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, Mohammad Akbar Wani, Anjana Tickoo, Rifat Arif, Sheikh Arshad Ayub, Nasir Ahmad Naqash, Rajesh Sharma, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Babila Rakwal and Riyaz Ahmad.
Consequent upon these promotions, Riyaz Ahmad Choudhary, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of CAPD, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary CAPD.
Veer Ji Hangloo, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, against an available vacancy.
Abdul Rashid War, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of CAPD Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
Narinder Singh Bali, Additional Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, is transferred and posted as ADDC Kathua, against an available vacancy.
Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (Development), Kashmir, is transferred and posted as ADDC Budgam, against an available vacancy.
Hashmat Ali Yatoo, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Audit), Srinagar, is transferred and posted as ADDC Anantnag, against an available vacancy.
Choudhary Rashid Azam Inqalabi, Additional Secretary School Education Department, is posted as Special Secretary School Education Department.
Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, Additional Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, is posted as Special Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture.
Mohammad Akbar Wani, Secretary, J&K State Commission for Women, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA.
Anjana Tickoo, Joint Registrar, Cooperatives, Banking and Finance, is transferred and posted as Additional Registrar, Cooperatives, Jammu. She shall take over the charge of the post upon the retirement on superannuation of Sheela Bhagat, Additional Registrar, Cooperatives, Jammu, on 28-02-2014 (A.N.).
Rifat Arif, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Pulwama, is transferred and posted as Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
Sheikh Arshad Ayub, Additional Secretary, Home Department, is posted as Special Secretary Home Department while Riyaz Ahmad, Additional Secretary, Public Service Commission, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, SKIMS and ex-officio Special Secretary to Government.
Meanwhile, according to a separate order, Rakesh Kumar Sarangal, Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban development Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Chief Electoral Officer in the office of Chief Electoral Officer, J&K.
