Motorcycle stolen in Sumb

SAMBA, Mar 20: A motorcycle and other items kept inside a shop were stolen in the village Jalapar of Sumb area of Samba here today.
In this context, Samba police have registered a case and started investigation. According to the information received, Sarwan Kumar, son of Ram Ditta, resident of Jalapar, said that he had closed the shop on Tuesday evening and gone home. As soon as he came to open the shop on Wednesday morning, he saw that the locks of the shop were broken and a motorcycle JK21G-3304 was stolen.
He said the thieves have also stolen money and food items from the shop. The police reached the spot, registered the case and started searches. Local people said that incidents of theft in rural areas are a matter of concern. Earlier we hear about such heinous acts only in cities and such cases have started happening in villages too. Samba Police need to take strict cognizance of this.
