Wrestling body Secy asks J&K unit to focus on youngsters

JAMMU, Mar 19: Appreciating the affiliated unit in J&K for encouraging and promoting wrestling through traditional Dangals, the Indian Style Wrestling Association of India today asked for more focus on youngsters in the rural pockets of the Union Territory.
Interacting with the officials of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association (JKISWA), visiting secretary general of the Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, Gaurav Sachdeva also advised the existing body to spread the activities to the rural districts so as to tap the wrestlers at young.
Earlier, president of JKISWA, Shiv Kumar Sharma introduced his team with visiting National General Secretary amidst a brief note of the activities of the Association. Among others present were Bansi Lal Tidyal (General Secretary), Prithvi Raj Sharma (treasurer), Mulkh Raj Sharma, Naresh Kumar Sharma (Pappu Lakri), Ram Paul Sharma (all members) and Arvind Sharma.
