JAMMU, Dec 27: J&K BJP Minority Morcha president, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa today said that the sacrifices of Sahibzadas and Guru Gobind Singh were against the cruelty and injustice against people.
Nalwa, who today participated in a Bhandara along with senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, said Guru Arjun Dev was the first Sikh Guru to sacrifice his life against the cruel and anti-human acts of then rulers.
The seven-day Bhandara was organised by Tankers Union at Railway Yard here.
Addressing the gathering, Nalwa also called upon the administration to restore the old practice of ‘slip system’ as in its absence the Tankers Union was faced with several problems.
He said the administration should do the needful at the earliest so that the Tanker Union leaders and members were not forced to protest on the roads in support of their demand which, he said, was genuine.
Tankers Union president Ranjit Singh also spoke on the occasion.
Gupta said the exemplary courage and sacrifice of Sahibzadas and Guru Gobind Singh would continue to guide the path of humanity for all times to come.
