Salary structure of JAs

Sir,
Apropos the Govt. order (Annexure A of DCAPDJ of 2013 dated 01-2014) regarding appointment of Junior Assistants in the Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, published in Daily Excelsior newspaper (page 8) dated January 17, 2014, I intend to bring to the notice of general public the ignorance and indifference exhibited by the concerned authority, that is, Director CAPD in this case.
The order explains in a tabulated form the fixed monthly salary, as regulated by Govt. Order No. 257-F of 2011 that the appointees would be receiving. The actual copy of this order issued by the Finance Department as a result of the Cabinet Decision No. 193/23/2011 dated 19.10.2011 is available for public viewing on the website of the SSRB. And, it clearly mentions in its Note #2 that the aforementioned salary structure will be applicable to all the temporary employees who are appointed as a result the advertisements issued after 1st November 2011. It is important to note that the appointees in the present case were appointed as a result of the notification No. 09 of 2010 dated 30/12/2010. It goes without saying that the tabulated salary structure issued by The Director CAPD in yesterday’s issue of Daily Excelsior is not applicable to these appointees.
Either the authorities at the helm of affairs are ill-informed about the State Government’s decisions/orders that regulate the salary structures of the Government employees or they issue such important notifications/orders without doing due homework. They are indifferent to the impact such actions can have on the appointees and their families.
It is hoped that the concerned authorities would review their decisions regarding the salary structure being proposed for the Junior Assistants appointed in the Jammu Divisional cadre vide order no. 22-DCAPDJ-of-2014.
Yours etc…..
