JAMMU, Nov 3: Aam Aadmi Party’s State Spokesperson and member of the State Media Coordination Committee, Advocate Appu Singh today produced a document dated: 22nd of Feb 2022 alleging irregularities in the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Sehat Scheme in J&K).
Talking to media persons, here today, she dared the J&K Health & Medical Education department to come clear on certain issues and alleged irregularities committed in entering into memorandum over the Sehat scheme.
Quoting the document, obtained through RTI, Appu Singh claimed that the memorandum for submission to the Administrative Council was a post facto approval as the decision over stop loss agreement was already taken.
“Logically, the SHA should have submitted a Cabinet note to the GAD and after through scrutiny by the GAD, it should have gone to the Administrative Council,” she explained and alleged administrative as well as final lapses due to non-adherence to the rules.
“Aam Aadmi Party will always continue to speak against all alleged scams of the J&K administration and will keep raising the voice of the common man,” she added.
Senior AAP leaders Anita Choudhary and Mohinder Pal Singh were also present in the press conference.
