JWAM protests against traffic scenario

JAMMU, Jan 13: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today staged a protest demonstration on Janipur-High Court Road here against the Government for his failure in solving the rising traffic problem in City of Temples and its outskirts.
JWAM activists led by their president, Sunil Dimple, raised slogans against the Government and Traffic Department for failing to take appropriate steps to tackle traffic problem and disrupted traffic movement on the busy High Court Road for some time.
Addressing the JWAM activists, Dimple said Traffic Week initiated by the Traffic Department is an eye wash and only wastage of time, money and energy. Instead of vexing the common people through Traffic Week, Government should widen the busy roads like Janipur-High Court Road, Talab Tillo Road, Canal Road and erect flyovers on busy routes.
Dimple criticized the Government saying it is befooling the people for last five years by making hollow assurances of solving the traffic problem though the reality is that Government has no traffic mobile plan for Jammu.
