JAMMU, Jan 10: Jagti inmates in a joint meeting today held under the chairmanship of Bushan Lal Kandi discussed the burning problems.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of JCC, JUF, Voice of KPs, KHC Unit Jagti, relief holders, All Displaced Kashmiri Youth Samaj Wing, JMWC, P K Unit Jagti etc.
The meeting resolved to continue struggle for the cause of migrants in general and Jagti township inmates in particular who are facing many hardships.
The burning issue of power crisis was the main agenda in the meeting and the inmates expressed concern that due to complete black out, the education of their children has been hit whose examinations are drawing near. Besides, power crisis have added to the woes of old and infirm people.
The meeting accused the Government of its total failure in solving this burning problem. The meeting appealed the Government to come out with a viable solution to the problem keeping in view the financial position of relief holders.
The meeting criticized the CAPD for its failure in supplying ration before 10th of every month. It alleged despite the assurance of Chief Minister and other authorities the work on hospital has not been resumed. It alleged that the Relief authorities also failed to fulfill promises on other demands.
Sanjay Raina, T K Dhar, Ravi Zutshi, Mr Ganjoo, C L Pandit, Roshan Lal Raina, Ram Krishan, Neeraj Ji, Subash Zutshi, Ravinder Raina, Kundan Lal, Ashok Tickoo, Veer Ji Belove and Pintoo Ji were present in the meeting.
