UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: A middle aged housewife committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at the house of her in-laws, here last night.
The deceased was identified as Poli Devi (45) wife of Madan Lal of Billen Bowli, Udhampur. She was brought to District Hospital Udhampur by the family members. However, despite hectic efforts by the doctors, she died after some time.
The body was handed over to the family members after post mortem while police has registered a case in this connection.
