Medical camp held at Ved Mandir Balniketan

JAMMU, Jan 8: A medical camp was organized here at Ved Mandir Balniketan team, wherein team of doctors comprising Dr Baljit Singh and Dr Gurpreet Singh inoculated first dose of Hepatitis-B to 118 orphan children including 48 girls and 12 care takers.
Vice-president, Ved Mandir Balniketan, Purushottam Sharma, who cooperated in this philanthropic work of doctors, said that by extending their bounteous hands they had protected the children against deadly disease of Jaundice.
Dr Baljit Singh announced that 2nd and 3rd doses of Hepatitis-B would be given to these children on February 9 and first week of August, 2014 respectively. He also delivered tips to the children on Hygiene and Sanitation as also on maintenance of healthy environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Purushottam Sharma informed that Ved Mandir is running Dr Lachhman Dass Kapoor Free Homeopathy Dispensary at Ambphalla Chowk, wherein consultation and medicines are provided to the patients free of cost.
