Udhampur, Sept 20: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, Police patrolling team of Police Station Udhampur apprehended one drug peddler and recovered 4.42 grams of heroin like substance.
Police patrolling team of PS Udhampur led by SHO Raghubir Singh under the supervision of S.Gurmeet Singh DySP Hqrs. Udhampur caught one suspected person near Industrial Estate Kallar.
During frisking 4.22 grms of heroin like substance was recovered from the accused namely Shallu Kumar S/o Jattu Ram R/o Jaganoo, Udhampur who was arrested on spot
In this connection, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation is underway.
