Bhoomi Pujan for over Rs 2 cr tube well performed

JAMMU, May 26: Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of over Rs two crore tube well in the Bawa Kailak Dev Mandir premises at Thathar Bantalab was held today.
Prabandhak Committee, Bawa Kailak Dev Mandir general secretary, Shakti Dutt Sharma said that there was a huge shortage of water in this Kandi area. In view of this, on the request of the people of the nearby areas Thathar, Bantalab, Patoli, Guda, Keran, the Bawa Kailak Dev Temple Prabandhak Committee unanimously donated one kanal of land of the temple for this tube well so that the surrounding areas and the temple including the visiting pilgrims can get pure drinking water.
This scheme will be completed by Jal Shakti Department at a cost of Rs 2 crore 26 lakhs. On this occasion, Committee president Master, Rampal Seth, Arun Khanna Chairman Health and Sanitation, councilor Kuldeep Chib, president of Campus Development Committee, Pawan Gupta, Executive Engineer, Rakesh Bhatti, AEE Bodhraj, Thakur Kashmir Singh, Vijay Gupta, Satish Gupta, Sahil Seth , Pandit Kewal Krishan Seth and others were present.
