Protest on Apr 21 for OPS restoration demand

JAMMU, Apr 16: In spontaneous response to the call by Shiv Gopal Mishra, general secretary Railways Federation of India and convener National Joint Council of Action (NJCA) for restoration of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and after discussion with senior leadership of NJCA J&K, it was decided by NJCA J&K to stage a protest demonstration on April 21, 2023 at B.R Ambedkar Chowk near Bahu Plaza at 10:30 am.
This protest will be for the demand of scrapping the New Pension Scheme (NPS) and for the restoration of OPS.
Addressing senior NJCA leadership, Ganesh Khajuria, chairman J&K Teachers Forum appealed all the senior leaders and district presidents of the Forum to attend the protest demonstration with maximum number to make it successful.
“This issue pertains not only to NPS employees but to our future generations also,” he further said.
The meeting was attended by S. Surat Singh, Darshan Sharma, Gopal Singh, Rajinder Gupta, S. Ravinder Singh, Raj Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bandral and others.
