JAMMU, Apr 10: The Government today disbanded Union Territory Level Executive Committee (UTLEC), UT Bamboo Mission (UTBM) and District Bamboo Development Agency (DBDA).
The UTLEC, UTBM and DBDA were earlier constituted in terms of Government order number 636-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated July 20, 2021, for implementing the National Bamboo Mission in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pursuant to merge of National Bamboo Mission with Mission for Integrated Horticulture Development (MIHD) by Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, sanction is hereby accorded to winding up of UTLEC, UTBM and DBDA constituted in terms of Government Order number 636-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 20.07.2021, for implementing National Bamboo Mission in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” an order issued by General Administration Department read.
