JAMMU, Apr 3: Government Railway Police (GRP) today claimed that they have arrested a drug peddler and seized Charas-like-substance from his possession.
They said Imran Malik of Sunjwan, Jammu, was arrested with 9 rolls of the contraband by a team of Police Station GRP Jammu led by SHO concerned, Inspector Rohit Dev Singh, during routine patrolling/checking at Narwal Naka of Railway Station Jammu, on April 1, 2023.
“The accused has been booked in case FIR number 10/2023 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station GRP Jammu and further investigations taken up,” said police.
The arrest and recovery was made under the overall supervision of SDPO GRP Jammu and SSP GRP Jammu.
