JAMMU, Mar 22: Two gamblers were arrested from Rajiv Nagar area here and an amount of Rs 15170 was seized from their possession, police said today.
They said that Sandeep Kumar and Malqeet Singh of Rajiv Nagar, Jammu, were arrested while playing online gambling by a team of Incharge Police Post Narwal, SI Lalit Sharma.
“The duo has been booked under section 13 of the Gambling Act and Rs 15170 has been seized from their possession,” said a police spokesperson.
“Further investigation has been started,” he added.
