REASI, Nov 13: Keeping in view the present security situation, border tension and festival season, a mock drill for dealing with severe law and order problem was conducted by District Police Reasi in Katra town.
The drill was conducted in collaboration with District Administration, CRPF 6th Bn and Fire Service authorities.
The mock drill was based on a specific plan involving deployment of Police manpower and resources at key strategies points so as to prevent law and order situation turning violent or going out of control.
The ultimate objective was to secure the lives and property of the people in such situations and inculcate confidence among general public.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Reasi and Addl Superintendent of Police Katra.
