JAMMU, Mar 9: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC) held a meeting with Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, K K Sidha and Assistant Relief Commissioner, today to discuss various issues of displaced Pandits with them.
In the meeting main problems faced by the displaced people from Valley were discussed and brought in the notice of RRC by the AIMCCC leaders.
The AIMCCC team was headed by its chairman associated by the president, joint secretary, secretary, district president, Mahila Wing, Srinagar, district president ,Mahila Wing Jammu, president Mahila Wing Doda-Bhaderwah. In addition to them Sagar Koul, Anil Mehta, Vir Ji Raina, the senior leaders of the organization were present in the meeting.
The RRC along with ARC were invited to visit the Jagti township, where the displaced people from Kashmir Valley, have been residing for a long period, to have at and on-spot solution of their pending matters, whether of accommodation, relief, repairs of tenements, bore- pumps and other related problems pending disposal.
The RRC promised to settle the problems of migrants under rules and genuine criteria. The members of AIMCCC complimented the RRC and ARC for their support and assurance in solving the problems.
