RAJOURI, Mar 9: Chairman Municipal Committee Thannamandi, Shakeel Mir today inaugurated Bhatidhar village road in Thannamandi.
The locals of the area (Ward 11) extended gratitude to the Chairman Municipal Committee Thannamandi Mandi for connecting their area with Thannamandi town through a link road after a long struggle.
Chairman, Shakeel Mir during inaugural function was accompanied by Tehsildar Thannamandi Syed Sahil Ali Shah, Councilors of all the wards of Municipal Committee, public representatives from all over the area, Panchs- Sarpanchs and local residents. The road has been constructed under CAPEX budget having length of 1 km 250 mts .
Speaking on this occasion, Mir said it could be possible due to the struggle and hard work for the past fifty years of the local people and finally it paid off. Now the area has been connected to the town through a link road.
Shakeel Mir said all the Wards of the MC will get road connectivity and soon parking places will also be created in the town. He said for this also public support was must.
