Jammu, Jan 2: Consequent upon assignment of the post of the Superintendent Engineer to one of the Jal Shakti Department in-charge Executive Engineers, the Jammu and Kashmir Government today ordered transfer and posting of three engineers.
As per an order issued by Jal Shakti Department, sanction was accorded to the placement of Sanjeev Puri, Executive Engineer as in-charge Superintendent Engineer to meet administrative exigency, without conferring on him any preferential right to claim promotion on substantive basis, till the post is filled under rules following due process.
Further, the placement/assignment of charge to Sanjeev Puri, as per the order, is subject to superior claim of any left out officer if found genuine or upon outcome of any legal proceedings.
Accordingly, the Government ordered transfer and posting of three engineers of the Jal Shakti Department.
As per order, Gurcharan Singh, SE, Hydraulic Circle, Srinagar/Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as Technical Advisor, Jal Jeevan Mission, Kashmir with effect from January 1, 2023 against the retirement vacancy; Irfan Ul Islam, SE, Hydraulic Circle, Budgam, has been transferred and given the additional charge of the post of SE, Hydraulic Circle, Srinagar/Ganderbal, and Sanjeev Puri, in-charge SE, has been posted as SE, Hydraulic Circle, Rajouri, with effect from January 1, 2023 against the retirement vacancy.
