RAMBAN, Dec 29: Driver of a car of Innova make was killed here today after the vehicle he was driving plunged into a gorge in Kelamorh here on Jammu Srinagar National Highway.
Police said that the ill fated car was having registration number JK04A-2330. Soon after the accident, rescue teams of Police, SDRF and Civil QRT reached the spot and retrieved the body from gorge and shifted it to mortuary of District Hospital Ramban.

Police identified the deceased as Mudasir Ahmed Langno, 37, son of Noor Mohammad Langno, resident of Dalgate, Srinagar.
SHO Police Station Ramban, Inspector, Sandeep Singh Charak said after conducting post-mortem and other legal formalities body of the deceased was handed over to relatives of the deceased.
A case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Ramban.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam advised the people driving on NH-44 to drive with utmost care as four accidents had been reported on the highway in last five days.
