SRINAGAR, Dec 28: BJP district Srinagar under the leadership of Ashok Bhat its district president held a convention at Takan Wari, Iddgah, here, today in which the policies and programmes of Narendra Modi Government for welfare of people of J&K and development of UT were highlighted.
Constituency president, Muneer Ahmed Shah organised the convention in which a large number of local people participated. During the convention district members spoke and threw light on party’s future programmes. Some local people raised public grievances on the occasion also. While answering to these quarries and grievances, Ashok Bhat in his address said “BJP is the party of poor and needy, therefore we are here for you to redress all the grievances”. Bhat further added that It’s the Modi ‘s dream to make this Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir a new Jammu and Kashmir the way India has been made a New India.
Bhat further made it clear that “BJP is for you and the youth,. Modi Government has brought tourism and weeded out terrorism. It wanted to see pens and laptops in the hands of youth”. He assured them that the God has bestowed you with natural resources with stone related businesses and I will try to expand it scientifically and in a modern way.
Others who were present on the occasion included Saba Ali, Hanief Bhat , Syed Shujat Rizvi, Riyaz Ahmed Ganie, Muner Ahmed Shah, Gh Rasool Dar, Samina, and Bashrat Ahmad.
